Happy 25th Anniversary

25 years of lovely orchids!!

Welcome back to a new club year!

Happy New Year to you and your orchids… and a great big CONGRATULATIONS to the club on reaching the ripe old age of 25!

It’s a great achievement in this electronic age with many clubs and societies of all types struggling to maintain membership and viability; Peel Regional Orchid Society is going strong and that’s thanks to everyone who turns up at meetings and participates in whatever way.

Let’s keep the club strong going forward – there’s always room for more members so encourage your friends and the people you meet who shown an interest in your plants to come along. Also, let’s carry on bringing all our plants to the monthly meetings – the displays have been getting better and better, and the more plants on display the more we will all learn and be encouraged to try.

At this month’s meeting, on 8th February 2019, we celebrated 25 years of Peel Region Orchid Society. What better way to do this than with a cake. Happy Anniversary. If you missed out on a slice of cake don’t worry as we still have some left over, frozen and will bring along to next month’s meeting.
